Maxine Boyce

Maxine Boyce has had over 30 years experience working in the business sector from being an administrator, training officer to Human Resources.

 

She is currently the Director of Hackney Young People Uni and has been in this role for 15 years, alongside this she also has a passion for baking from when she was younger and has turned this passion into a micro business where she runs cake decorating and baking workshops for both young people and adults.

 

Maxine loves to bake and cook for her family and friends and her recipes have been passed down from her mother and grandmother. For more information on the different cakes visit  the social enterprise on this website.

The company was founded by Dulani Stephenson in 2007. Dulani Stephenson has been working in the Sports and health industry for over ten years he has a degree in Sports Therapy, qualifications in reflexology, Swedish massage, sports massage and a range of other complimentary therapies.

Dulani Stephenson has also worked in the education industry as a lecturer teaching, anatomy and physiology, sports massage and has independently run health and fitness workshops.

 

His experience and skills gained throughout his career within the sports and education industry are used to deliver a professional and high quality service to all clients.

Born and raised in London Keith started to dj for his friends while still at school and had his first professional gig at JEAN PIERES in Greek street in 1979. From there he started his first residency alongside his brother MEL djing at one of London's premiere nights THE LIFT in London's Soho from 1981 to 1986. It was while djing at THE LIFT that Keith was introduced to house music by a friend (Trevor Lewis). When THE LIFT finally ended Keith secured a residency at London's infamous Wag Club alongside Mark Moore from S-Express.

 

 

Over the years Keith has played on various Mix shows for many radio stations including Kiss Fm, Galaxy Fm, Paris FG, Skyrock, Swedish National radio,Girls FM, Unknown FM ssradio.uk CyberJamz Radio (New  York), and now does shows foeDigitalClubradio.com 

 


Since those heady days has gone on to remix tracks for the likes of Whitney Houston, Sounds of Blackness, Ann Nesby and Marshall Jefferson's Rock Your Body,Boris Dulugosh,and Kenny Thomas Maceo Parker and Seal amongst others and is forever busy on the dj front,touring europe continuously for the past years playing at some of Europe's premiere clubs in Italy, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Belgium, Ibiza etc.

 

 

 

Paul Mushumani


Paul is an experienced actor and director who trained for 5 years with the late Sam Kogan, first at Mountview Theatre School and then The School of The Science of Acting. As an actor his work includes a recent production of Napoleon Noir playing the lead role, Golden Boy (National tour). Other theatre includes Chekhov Double Bill, The Marriage (Edinburgh Festival and Moscow Arts Theatre)

He was both Head of Acting (BA Hons) and a Tutor in Directing for more than 8 years at Kogan Academy of Dramatic Arts. While there he trained and graduated skilled professionals who have gone on to become award winning actors and directors. He has a holistic approach to his training method, exploring how an understanding of the workings of a consciousness and life leads to creating memorable characters and beautiful acting.
His previous directing work includes August: Osage County, All My Sons, The Philistines and The Diary of Anne Frank. 

 

Has has worked as a drama and filmmaking tutor at HYPU for over 10 years and in 2010 he was awarded teachers of the year. 

Amanda Phillips

Amanda has many years experience within the sewing business- She developed experience and skills in many textile creative techniques: Applique, Block printing, Tie dye and Pattern making to name but a few and now incorporates all of her knowledge in her bespoke workshops.

 

Amanda's passion for sewing began as a small child when her mother bought her a sewing machine. Over the years Amanda has created her own business designing and selling childrens clothes in local markets and online.
